Re: Swivel Seats

At that price these might be worth buying for the swivels alone.

Don't know what other seats they might accommodate... monkeynut???

Re: Swivel Seats

pity they haven’t the bases as well   would have been a strait swap  as the bases are lower and level   where as the scudo is on an angle,, i bet the they will fit though

They look to low for me. I really only need one swivel (Passanger) so was looking at fronts from a Mondeo as they are common as muck. I can get two leather for 50 quid use my base and buy a 2nd hand swivel. I have empty space in my bases so plenty storage space. Ill put sides and a back in and get plastic drawers. All i think i need to do with the seats is move the lower runners mount bolt holes.

Me too.

I reckon there's 50 ltr + of good square storage space under there and with so many sizes of plastic boxes available I have found good fits for them.  Mine are already boxed in on three sides though so accessible only through side doors.

Re: Swivel Seats

Im pondering buying a safe OAT. If a do that will go under one but its handy for things like the sat nav or anything of value to chuck it out of sight.

Re: Swivel Seats

The boxes on mine could easily have a hinged locking door attached with hidden or tamperproof fixings.  May do one front one that way.  They are quite a bit smaller than the rear but then... I have little of value.

But as Mr Zimmerman said "If you ain't got nothing, you got nothing to lose".

I am hoping to find another litre or two with pockets behind cutouts in the rear door cards too.  Every little helps.

Not got a picture but if you get a chance look inside a convoy door. The pockets are bloody massive but they are at the bottom what tuck into the foot well. No danger with my Orangutan arms can i reach them sitting in the seat. They have the cheek to make one a bottle storage. I need to make something for half way up to even have a chance to get some water when driving. big_smile

Re: Swivel Seats

I would hope at £42.00 they come with a voucher for lifetime Greggs refills.

Tight arse.

Half Yorkie, half Jock that I am,  I lashed out on the deluxe folding model:-

But I have been known to screw a big jubilee clip to the dash.

Re: Swivel Seats

Looking for a bit of guidance hopefully. We've picked up a '98 Expert with a Stimson Tirol conversion, but at some point the drivers side swivel has been removed (passenger one still there & working) and the single rear seat & base on the drivers side.
So we're looking for a swivel for the drivers seat and a rear passenger seat (and base it bolts to if possible) we know it's hard finding this stuff, so any help/advice appreciated.
If I could figure how to post a pic on here, I'd post a pic of the seats that are in it.
Thanks in advance

Look under seat and the bolts holding the lower runner into the frame measure the distance front to back and back left to right. Once you have that go buy a swivel plate to fit. I bought to from here for 120 quid

http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/jennings-seat … 2749.l2754

They were cheap as tehy are small so adapted them with cross beams but i have wide runners in my van (LDV with Corsa seats) Once you have your plate unbolt seat and runner from base and bolt swivel to base then seat to swivel. You may need to drill a couple of new holes as they cant fit all vans bob on. It is that simple.
