Anybody post a photo of the location of this for me . I think I know where it is but without a manual I'd appreciate the information .
I think mine is borked , both reverse lights out . Started by checking the fuse , it's fine and the lamps are ok . I'm thinking if I unplug the lead and and short across the plug as if the switch was made then reverse lights should come on .
Hoping it's not a busted wire somewhere .
Any idea why there's no Haynes manual for these beasties ?

Sorry I can't actually point it out but I haven't even been under mine properly. I am sure someone else will know.
In the meanwhile, have a look and see if you can see anything like this sticking out of the gearbox:-

The no Haynes is a big mystery on such a widely used design. Can't think of any other similar sellers without one.

You can pop over to the Fiat forum and download the Scudo manual on CD and mount this in windows.

I saw there were some downloadable manuals but they didn't seem to want to play nicely with the iPad .
Will have to try it with somebody else's computer.
I found what I thought was the offending article but I'd like to know for sure before I start .
Modern diesels seem to be well endowed with sensors of every sort .

I dont have my van now so cant look but open your bonnet and pop your head in. You seem to have two sensors. One on the left at the bell housing and one to the right front under your nose. I think that is your reverse switch going by pictures on ebay

I've got a Russek manual which has been very handy. I think this is the reversing switch: http://wookware.org/pics/van/img051.jpeg.html (the white block), but I would have to check to be certain. It's round there somewhere on top of the gearbox housing.

Its on top of the gearbox close to the clutch operating arm. Usually a white plug.
