2007 dispatch

Hi all, just joined for info on my van, 2007 plate Citroen Dispatch 1.6Hdi 90bhp .
Can anyone tell me
A: where the cab heater speed control resistor is located...been looking for ages, just got No.4 blasting away or nothing. B: how much gear oil is held in the gearbox as i have to open her up as 5th has gone south and I need to replace a driveshaft oil seal.
Thanks in advance.
Rob

Hello Bobby.

Don't think I can help myself but have you checked the "Repair Manuals, Publications and other Downloads" section?

Your heater problem sounds the same as was common on the earlier models.  I think there are a few threads on it in the 1996 - 2006 Vans section.  The speed control resistor may well be mounted on the fan housing itself.

Still got to put a new clutch & gearbox in her, got a chuffing injector seal and ive managed to sort a molten mess in my rear light clusters but other than that, had the van maybe 2 months lol. Got to make her better....shes my baby

Hi Bobby,

You'll need to remove the glove box and the fan resistor is behind it to the top left, it sits in the fan housing if I remember correctly. Mine did the same, took the electrical connector off it and put it back on and it worked fine smile

Nice one, never thought to look behind the glovebox, was searching around the engine bay, looking for a hefty resistor lol, cheers!
