Re: Renault espace seats??

Think the early models might but unsure of later. Saying that why not get them and drill new holes and bolt down. You need a load bearing plate under the motor but that can be bolted with the seat bolt. If i cant get a swivel for my van later in the year i will be doing just that with something like a transit seat.

Re: Renault espace seats??

Cheers - I'm trying to keep the chance of mistakes as low as possible (especially when it comes to safety!) so I want something that bolts straight it- been talking to these guys

http://www.motorhomespares.com/collecti … 1031099389

They say I'll have to cut a bit off or something! anyway I'll look into it when I've got the back stripped out.

Cheers!

Yeah i was looking at them on ebay but 20 quid cheaper. Not sure if you can use the seat base on the double passenger though. If you need a single see speak to goody as he has one in the taxi he is braking. To far for me. The Espace seats, as long as the bolt holes in the seat ate flat on the floor then you should be fine to just drill new holes. The load bearing plate is just a larger fatter washer. Speak to your local MOT man to get the size but i woould think a 2" square will be fine.

Re: Renault espace seats??

I have done alot of research into swivel seats for mine,, be patient  look for someone breaking a 806/synergie/ulysees  they bolt strait in took me about a hour
its worth the wait
also i beleive the 807 seats fit too

ps  there is no farting about with the hand brake lever either as it is mounted to the  seat base in the same way

Re: Renault espace seats??

Cheers guys, I am looking and waiting for a breaking uyl/806/syn ( I am so bored of having to search for everything 3 times!) But the local scrapyard seems to think they have some espace ones which they say are the same.

I have the single front seat already which I like as you can walk into the back without getting out!

I was thinking it would be good to have an area of the forum where people can post things they are selling/giving away or links to bargains on eBay that I'm sure we all find but don't necessarily need at the time?

Just an idea!

I had thought this would be a good idea, but wasn't sure about how it would be policed or if there was enough bandwidth?

Yep good shout folks.

Obviously we can't move straight into being a fully functioning marketplace without jumping through various tedious hoops .. but I'm more than happy to open up a new section to highlight items wanted / required or for sale via other sites (ebay etc).

Sound like a plan?
