Putting In Windows?

I came across this on another forum. The guy has used LDV windows and can you spot the mistake?

Its the wrong side. Other side is the same. The slider is at the rear leaving the seal facing the wind,rain whatever when you are driving along increasing the chance of water getting into your van. Worth a few extra seconds of thought when fitting windows folks.

But on the plus side, he will be ok in reverse.  smile

At least being square, he might be able to reverse the glass and runners.  I notice the drains in the frame are at the bottom.

Aye the other side is the same. All he has to do is pop them out again to swap over but runs the risk of leaks if the holes dont line up. I would go overkill on the sealant. Unfortunately i cane ask if he noticed his mistake as the post was in archive and he is an Ex member

Re: Putting In Windows?

It's a coincidence but the van was in fact mine, I didn't realise for a couple of days that the windows were wrong side. As it was I had no issues with water ingress even when driving in rain I sold the van earlier this year.

Here it is on one of its trips out;
