Ive the small Calor bottle also.... Always felt I could do with a larger bottle.... But Ive only changed it once in the last two years and it wasn't a new bottle we started out with and it was more down to paranoia as we thought pressure (flame) was dropping.... To save hassle and it was sorted and ready.... As we were heading away for a good couple days and not long before we left for Spain nearly a year ago

It is only working the 2 ring burner ......
Still feel could do with even a second small bottle in tandem if I had the space for that safety net, still don't suppose that's to bad so far .....  I do carry the aerosol type gas can burner that I use when away on bike......just in case We get caught short ......... So to speak

Re: Expert campervan project

Mine is just a 2 burner and grill but the gas came with the stove in a deal. Seller said the gas was used once to heat beans and a couple of kettles of water. When i was away last year with the single burner that takes the aerosol size/shaped tins i only used four as we tend to mostly eat out. This year we are having to cook four nights a meal and when at bike rally two days of tea and coffee as 4pm is beer o'clock. I think we will be fine but like you Vaz i think its paranoia of running out where had i known my bottle was new i would not give it a 2nd thought.

May take the single burner and tins for emergencies big_smile
