Can anyone help? Missing part of my 03 dispatch

Hi, I have a air intake pipe missing on my 03 diesel dispatch everything is there from the filter box to the engine side but from the filter box there is nothing but the large hole on the intake side, does anyone know the part I need or could sell me the part, thanks Andy my postcode is dy53ry Dudley area

If that just goes to a gap it the front of the van to collect fresh air then i dare say almost any rubber/plastic flexible pipe will do. Just get a bit slightly thinner that the bit you see so your new one fits inside and tape over the gap. Other end to hole/gap at the front.

Thanks, it does go to the front cross member I think, its quite barky and got a diesel knock when first started for a few minutes, there is not a sensor in-between is there? Hope not lol

Not got my Pug anymore to check but i dont remember a sensor. If it did you would have a connector dangling around that area.

On my van it's just a concertina d pipe that tucked/runs behind N/S Headlight to a orifice on the inner wing to collect cooler air I suspect....
So as Casper says some ducting will do the trick ...... There's No Air Flow Sensor on a 1.9 DW8

Measure the bore on the air filter box pop down breakers see what they've got.... not that your very likely to find one now but escort vans had a long intake pipe

I have the same question mine just has a long pipe like an elephants trunk lol.

But it just floats around under the bonnet should it be clipped up somewhere?
