Hi. I've been doing plenty of maintenance on my expert, however not needed to post anything because everything I've needed to do has already been documented on here, I'm sure one day I'll have done some work that's not been mentioned and I'll then be of some help, haha.

Yep definitely a lucky bargain, and a lot less work than the dealer thought, Kenbw2 I think I saw one of your old posts about the cooler, with photos it helped a lot thanks.

Hello.
Recently bought an 04 Expert from a local dealer that took it in as part ex, paid scrap value for it as the dealer thought it had a blown head gasket as it was smoking like a steam train, it only had 93k on the clock with a full service history, I thought it was strange to have a blown gaskit at that milage, anyway I I've owned a partner before with the same engine and had a suspicion that it was egr valve related, then I found this forum and started checking out all your posts, I bypassed the egr and then put on a new oil cooler and guess what she was good with no smoke, couldn't have done it without you guys so thank you for posting and one day hopefully I'll be of some help too.
