What do you have to do to get it running on this? Or just straight in mate?
Mine is the original but I've just bought another one out of a mk1 the arm rest is on the left side side so sqeezed between the driver and passenger seat.
Oh brilliant thanks I'll see if it just unclips. Is your driver's seat a mk1 or mk2?
Thanks bud, so I need a one off a mrk1 with double seat ta.
You have a single in yours currently yeah? So you won't have run into the arm rest issue?
Hi all again so I've finally got around to trying to fit the 07 plate double seat into my 04. Couple of issues the bolts alignment all look like they indeed will fit exept the arm rest in the driver's seats stops the get over far enough. Did you guys remove the arm rest?
Second issue is there is no belt buckle ie original seat had it bolted to seat. New one doesn't and can't work out where one would be. Would it have been on the driver's seat in a mk 2? Ta
Is it because it's a Tepee....... I've often thought E7 Taxi's had a bit of a Lower stance.........
Does it have lowered springs fitted ? (During conversion).. or is it down to extra weight of conversion? ............I've been having a sniff about and Ive found a (spacers 30.. 40mm) lift kit for this the second Generation van {From Russia}..............
I'm sort of looking for a little extra ride {up to 2"} height over Standard (MK1 Facelift) with intention of {Thoughts of Sump guard and ability to fit a slightly larger All terrain tyre} Being a little more Adventurous..........
To cope with Coarse winterish weather up North.... Orkney ....
To tick off a bucket list ambition of going up past ... and visiting The Arctic Circle Centre... or the sign post to mark the invisable line near Jokkmokk and then onto Abisko and the National park............I know I could do it with van prety much as is ......... But I would like to do it between October {24hr day light almost} and March { Heading for 24 hrs Darkness} and being a little more "Overland " prepared .............
But Partners more for Head South for winter Sun ........
Not Fun freezing our ar** off .........
At the risk of a post resurrection did you manage this? I'd like to lift my mk 1 an inch or so. Ta

Hi all I'm buying a 2004 Expert to make a mini camper out of but I need 3 seats. It currently has 2 singles in it. Can I just swap it for a bench out? Is there a list of other cars the that would fit straight in or does anyone know if later model bench seats fit? Ps I have searched in the search function and can't really find any definite answer. Thanks in advance
I also asked in parts section I hope. That ok.
Hi mate that's really generous of you thank you. Would you consider screwing it to a pallet if I organised collection etc?
