Can anyone tell me where this is located on 2004 scudo
Thanks

if it is the 2.0L version it located top left of the engine bay when standing at the front of the van looking at the engine, it is tucked right up in the corner.

My box it dead, the one that was used to get the P1108 error did do live data but I can't keep asking people to pop round and plug their reader in so i will get a new one. There is a guy in Luton on Ebay doing them for £110 with good reviews, saves waiting 3 weeks or so for a shipment from China.

You could be right that there was no sync between cam and crank. I have replaced both sensors so don't think it will be that. the old sensors were not damaged like yours were.

I am currently investigating the wiring loom.

Hi John.

I do have another key and have tried it without success.

I did get another ECU which was supposed to be setup as they wanted my old one (which i had returned) both show the same error code when trying to start, P1108.

Would not it being immobilised result in some kind of error or light showing up? would it even turn over?

Thanks for your input, every suggestion is a help as it can lead to other questions and with luck an answer and could also point others who have a non starter on steps to take, mine does not seem to be an isolated case, there seems not to be one definitive answer to "turning over but not starting"

I think I will have to buy another diagbox as i can't keep getting others to pop round when they have time.

Cheers

Hi John,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes it is turning over at 500+ RPM according to diagbox

Cambelt is fine as just replaced the injection pump with a newly refurbished unit, Was not starting before I replaced the pump. Crank and cam were pinned during this procedure so should be timed ok.

Unplugged MAF, still not starting and the diagbox detected that it had been unplugged.

I have replaced with new, both the Cam and Crank sensors.

Rail pressure sensor was giving results in diagbox (can't remember the number but it did not cause concern)

Have also tried another ECU, same fault on diagbox same not starting. Also replaced 1 x Glowplug and Glowplug Relay. In tank pump working ok.

My diagbox has failed so not easy to do further testing as I have to get someone to call in to run tests.

It failed after being laid up for some months and the battery being let to go very flat, so much so i had to buy a new battery.

I am going to check the wires from the cam & crank sensors to see if any are broken.

Any other thoughts appreciated.

Sorry I can't help with your issue but am following closely as I have the save van that is not starting. I am currently waiting on a replacement glowplug relay as mine is not working, I wondered as you have the same van as me you could look at my post https://dispatchexpertscudo.org.uk/foru … hp?id=1747 and let me know what it looks like on your van. Would be much appreciated. Where are you as if you were close, I'm Devizes Wiltshire we may be able to do some comparisons and may be find out what's not working on your van assuming the glowplug relay fixes mine.

Cheers

Any update on this?

I have the same van which won't start after being stood for 12 months or so., I am waiting for a new glow plug relay as mine is not working (no 12v to glow plugs) with luck that will fix it.

I have read the relays are a common failure point.

Hi,
Scudo 2006 2.0L 8v

I have just found this plug behind the rad fan, one half seems to have seen better days and is just a pin, the socket just has 1 pink wire and the pin seems to have a orange? wire. Can anyone tell me what this connected to as both ends just go in to the loom and i am not even sure if the pin should be plugged in to the socket.

Cheers
