Thanks, Loctite's a good idea. And a new O ring would be good. Can't find any schematics on-line showing it as a spare part though,
no mention anywhere. I'll try citroen spares on monday

Hi all,
got a 2002 dispatch 2.0hdi on which i just fitted new ancillary belt.
After couple miles the elbow onto which a rubber pipe fits popped
out of the steering pump housing dumping fluid everywhere.

This appears to be just a push fit, and little effort to push back in or remove.
Can't imagine it can take much pressure. It probably got disturbed
when i moved the pipe to one side to use a long lever on the spring tensioner

Is this normal?
