Hi All. I'm a great fan of these vans - particularly like the low tech stuff - the wind up windows are great.
I've got a bunch of small electrical issues and i have been told that it is a faulty electrical centre (not the correct word I know) that is £400 new. The problems are the temp guage has gone on the blink, the washers don't work, The power supply to the glowplugs went (I fitted an independent supply - works a treat).
I was wondering if, as things go wrong, I could bypass the electrical centre, as i have with the glowplugs, ie say put in new wires to the temp guage, via the ignition, to the sender.
Is this kind of thing possible.
I'd love to cut out all the hi tech stuff - what does anybody think?
