Hello all - I have one of these which is sadly no use really for my LHD vehicle. No longer available from PSA so I had picked it up on the off chance. Looking to sell my vehicle too, but that is for another post. £105 oiro - will post anywhere in the UK.

Hi everybody - apologies for coming in late on this one but as I know nothing about auto electrics, I would appreciate guidance on whether the blower in my van is a three or four pin affair? When I put my VIN number into the Citroen service website it comes up with part numbers for both helpfully, and now the BEHR and HELLA appear to have merged I cannot find a definitive answer to the part number 91.794.51.137? Pics included, grateful for your assistance as ever

Many thanks for that Casper - apologies for the late reply. I have to say that you are an actual genius - the trick is in my lack of vocab and as soon as I put E7 interior trim into google....Voila!! (LHD as well, perfect!)

Hi all - just replaced one of the vents in the car. Although it doesn't add a great deal, I would like to know if anybody has seen / knows where to get these wood effect stickers (as per the pic).

That's a really interesting van you've got, I like how it's - the same but different - slant taken abroad to building a camper van, I notice it's only got one sliding door and is that a Euro style exchange gas bottle.
Which brings me too, Was there a particular desire to have a LHD van for almost exclusive use abroad or just where your search took you  and I think the colour scheme options on the "Alibi version" is absolutely fantastic, I know I said I like a van to be unassuming and blend in - have a stealth factor,  I really don't know if I could resist the dazzle camouflage  cool and the look on my partners face..... angel

How do you find the pop top, Best thing since sliced bread or take it or leave it ?

Having the gas checked by next week - I have no desire to fiddle with it myself. I was told by a friend who owns a German coach built camper that it appears to be a euro gas fitting. Left hand drive is not really an issue - although the idea is to use it on the continent mainly. Pop top is ideal as there are three of us and a dog! Outer and inner struts are all still working fine. Canvas is showing it's age a bit but there is no rot on the fibreglass shell or the tent itself. Have put a new timing belt on, expect to fit a new clutch cable shortly as gears are a bit Sticky. A friend tested the electrics on Saturday off the mains using a multimeter - nothing caught fire (which was heartening!), and was able to diagnose that the only thing requiring replacement was the fresh water pump. The 18 yo compressor frdge still works a treat - it would appear that in testing a single battery system we may have fried the alternator - I am currently sat broken-down with the battery light on and the pas not willing to play ball.......fingers crossed!

Heeeere's "Betsy"

Happy to report that having bought her from a dealer registered for export paperwork, they had already done an MOT style check on brakes, tyres, headlights etc. This means that once I had got the van UK side it passed an MoT with flying colours. Have since chosen to bite the bullet and change the timing belt at a main dealer, as she came with no service history. Also had her re-upholstered here and sort of invented a dog-guard type thing to prevent the family pet from ruining the expensive handywork. Also just purchased a table leg from zwaardvis which appears to be a bit cheaper than the Reimo standard. Just waiting for final clearance from the DVLA and when that happens I'll stick my copy of the tiresome registration document on here for anybody who plans to do the same thing.

A bit of history - this van was kitted out and lowered professionally by a company called Burow Mobil in Germany. Although they confirm that they built my camper, it has the livery of another now well-established German company called La Strada Vans - perhaps part of a short-lived joint venture? Burow did two versions called a Velix (based on the Jumpy/Dispatch) and the Alibi (based on the Expert). From what I can gather, the Velix was kitted out with a gas tank, trumatic gas heater, two-hob burner. The Alibi had the diesel cooker and no gas tank.

Pics and technical data is still on their website here Burow Mobile History

Anyway - a couple of pics

Hello everybody - been thinking about getting a smallish campervan for ages and the original shape Jumpy / Expert etc certainly ticks all the boxes. I have found a coach-built model which I'm going to pick up next week which has a lifting roof and an entirely fold-away kitchen unit and compressor fridge. These appear to be quite rare and as a result seem to trade at a bit of a premium. I fear that the base vehicle may be an absolute dog hence I have spent a long time on here looking at the maintenance manuals so kindly shared by the more expert users. I leave you with pictures I have come across during my research and another youtube vid that wasn't already on here. Enjoy
