It's a smaller one 280 x 280, I got it from a local caravan breakers for £27.00, he has new stock and accessories, he also trades on ebay as caravan-spares-uk.

cheers

A mechanic friend of mine thinks its the starter motor getting hot, expanding and tightening up.....sort of make sense in that give it 15/20 mins and she starts up again...and while it wont start it seems a bit slower turning over.

I am going to change the stop solenoid but haven't had the chance with work.

Hi Casper, aye its if I nipped in for a paper and then it wont start...it turns over ok and it is as if its fuel starvation.
Tried to prime it yesterday when it played up and it made no difference..left it to cool off for half hour or so and it fired up.
The stop solenoid has been mentioned but apparently its hidden away on the fuel pump and you need to remove some alloy to get at it ?

Cheers

Hi my little dispatch 1.9d has an issue and its driving me crackers, starts first time of a morning no problem at all and also 9 times out of 10 when its been warmed up.
?
Then every now and then if I have a short stop after a drive she will not start as if its fuel starvation,(and I have to wait maybe 20 mins or more before she does start) a mate of mine mentioned the stop solenoid could this be the problem and if so where on the fuel pump is it located ?

Any help or advice would be appreciated...

Cheers and Beers

Hi, Ime new to this and trying to get things in place for when I get my van in the next couple of weeks.
What do they call the silver insulation with the black backing to it please and is it expensive ?
Van is a Citreon Dispatch which is my works van at the minute but will be getting converted as soon as they sell it to me.:-)

Thanks again I have saved it in my listing and will have a word with a local dealer to see if he can programme it before I buy it.

Hi and thanks for the info, as it happens I have a card with the van code on it....and yes the key fob looks like the one on your post.
It certainly isn't a simple thing to get sorted by the looks of it !!

Hi I have just got hold of a Citreon Dispatch. The remote Key fob which should have 2 buttons on the side is broken....it has no buttons and no circuit board inside......there is another separate key that unlocks the van and you hear the central locking work, and the key on the broken fob starts the van...I can also see what I believe to be the chip in the broken fob.

Where would I get another fob from and would it have to be programmed, would it be expensive..?

Many Thanks

Hughie
