Thanks to all who responded. I will check, as it gives me some confidence. However it would have been interesting to see what a similar van does either in the Despatch, Peugeot or the Fiat Scudo with the same engine size, just to be sure.
Just worried the vehicle is shagged, as its burning through a lot of derv

Hello can any drivers out there of a 1.6 diesel despatch tell me what their rev counters are saying at 75-80mph?
Mine is 3.4-3.7 and I feel this is too high. Van sounds like its straining.
Gears also may be slipping on 5th, but intermittent. If not that, then why high revs?
Has engine had it? 63 plate 2013 just bought second hand with 50k on clock
