Hi Guys. I know this has been discussed in previous posts but I'm not getting anywhere. Van is a 2006 Dispatch 1.9D . Airbag light has come and stayed on. I've been through older posts and most say first thing to check is wiring harness and connectors under the seats. There is no wiring at all under my seats. Can anyone please advise me?

Found the problem with poor running! Had the bonnet up when it was ticking over and when it started misfiring I noticed air bubbles in fuel line. The fuel filter casing clip was loose. I fitted a new fuel filter and did the clip up properly and now it's fine. Pity the specialist Citroen garage I took it to didn't notice instead of discussing spending hundreds to replace EGR valve and possibly ECU

Coolant temp sensor fitted yesterday and van is still occasionally running badly. What's annoying is it can run for 20 miles without a problem, then suddenly start missing. It seems to be worse when at low revs. I haven't checked 4th injector wire yet but will tomorrow.

Thank you! I bought an coolant temp sensor yesterday and am going to fit it today. The guy (a friend) who scanned for error codes said coolant sensor was showing strange fluctuating readings and suggested the same as you have. I'll try and fit it today and let you know if it makes a difference. Thanks for your input.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'd be grateful for any input on this. I recently bought:
Citroen 815 Dispatch Enterprise 2006
Engine DW8B WJY has done 89,000 miles.

It runs fine most of the time but will occasionally splutter, lose power and emit white smoke. More so whilst cold and when idling. Often when idling at any temperature and sometimes on a run. I believe the EGR has been bypassed.

Fault codes are P1608 (internal engine control module)
P1145 (engine oil temp sensor, VCT solenoid)
P1116...not sure but possibly a side effect of the other 2 faults

What can I do? (with basic mechanical abilities and tools)..Or is there a mechanic anyone can recommend to me? In the South East ideally. I live in Aldershot, but van is driveable.  Any help welcome, Thanks.
