Once injectors are replaced in location check that the fuel lines are located where the injector will be tightened up as once you tighten injector you would not want to find that you can’t get the fuel line to attach because the injector isn’t twisted to the right location
i do this by hand tightening the fuel line and then tightening up a tad so can’t go wrong then remove again before torque

To replace the rubber seals i used a 16mm socket piece, sliding the seal onto it, lowering it over the sleeve and pushing downwards with a blunt screwdriver to fit the seal between the case and sleeve (makes this very easy!)

Once you have done this you can either drop your copper washer into the hole and check it’s flat on the inner face or some washer will just slide onto the bottom of injector and you can place it in with it held on (depends on washers)

Modify a hoover (trusty henry for me) and use a screwdriver or similar and clean the area as well as possible to avoid debris later falling down the hole too remove the nuts from injectors, there are 2 ( 1 at front 1 at back of injector) i used a socket piece and bar to rock the injector left and right (some people may choose to do this another way but worked for me)using left and right motion and a upwards pull the injector should come out (sometimes a bit more leverage may be needed but only for stubborn ones.  Then using a screwdriver remove the old seal

disconnect wiring plugs from injectors,unbolt wiring harness and disconnect maf sensor, remove airbox

Then remove turbo to intercooler pipe and covering the turbo

Thanks for the link on vid, looks fairly easy with the right parts, that’s along the lines of what i’d like to do although do think with the air intake i’d like to do away with that and i don’t have a battery under the hood my one is located inside the van at drivers footwell so have a lot of room for brackets fittings etc there so that’s a bonus, thinking a more flexible hose for the catch can would be best and the ford fitment for the crankcase breather output looks alot better fitment than standard too

Hopefully people can put some input/feedback into if people have ever done so or the pros and cons as to me i can’t see why this isn’t possible and would be so much better. If i only had a spare pipe to hand i’d get the tools out and see what i can come up with. catch cans seem reasonably price on the bay. however i think there would be some adaption on the airfilter side. Sure i can knock something up

Hey no probs happy to help. I agree think some of the prices are a bit crazy for what they are. I’m still waiting on the new sleeve for injector. I’m like a dog waiting on its owner coming home waiting for my postman every day

I’ve spoken to someone locally who does injector coding and has said if i fit them and see how it is running then if any issues bring it down for coding and he will do 2 injectors for £27 so that’s the worst case scenario which is ideal just received my seals today just waiting on the injectors and washer puller then i’m good to go just doing a few other jobs while i await the post man i’ve got a few things lined up, keep myself busy while i’m off work
