Johndragonman I'm liking that idea alot. Love a bit of tech and gadgets!
Would be interesting to see your plan unfold.
Hi OAT, I've known heat to set them off but very rare to be honest. Theoretically it shouldnt detect battery gases.
Take it and put it in fresh air, as you had nothing burning gas or diesel at the time I would suspect it was a blip in its operation.
Once its stopped beeping and the reading is back to zero give it another try, with no gas or diesel burning and see what happens.

Only way to tell for sure would be to have the interior checked using a calibrated analyser, usually carried by gas engineers. An appropriately approved engineer could carry out an ambient atmospheric test and confirm if there is any CO present.
Got it ordered, now just wait for it to arrive and get it fitted. Hopefully see some difference once it's in.
Thanks AB_70, really happy with the head unit everything is just spot on with it.
Progress on the conversion has been slow of late, done abit of additional wiring for a few little additions such as for an internal red night driving light, switches and initial wiring for the heated seats when I get round to fitting them.
The additional rear plastic trims pieces finally arrived the other week so will be looking at fitting them soon too.
Just need to decide on the final interior layout, whether to go with a full width seat/bed or 3/4 and a side unit with fridge area etc.
Then make a final decision on windows, going with the bonded type but cant decide at the moment whether to do just the side loading doors or them and the rear panels.
I've used them recently for some interior panels, parts are spot on. Although did take a while for delivery as they had to come from France the parts I ordered and during the Covid situation so to be expected really.
All in all though would recommend them
Thanks dispatcher. Will get myself one ordered up.
A link would be good thanks dispatcher.
Good suggestion dispatcher, might look at going down that route. I know from all the engine work I've had to do over the last year that it does clog everything up nicely that egr.
Just a side note on the electrics, if you purchase the kit from Peugeot then it's a plug and play kit as long as you have the module at the rear of the van nearside.
You may also need to activate the trailer module as well. I didnt need to on mine it just worked, butchecked it with my brothers snap on diagnostic thing once done.
Father Stone hoping to start fitting the leather seats this weekend. Will do a thread once done.
I was lucky when I did mine, had to do all 4 though, as my brother is a mechanic so just borrowed all his tools and gave him a shout when I needed to.
Ended up changing the air intake manifold as well, as it was well shot.
Be good to get a guide up for others who may need to do the same job.
Looks like these are the same as what you have:
Just located my invoice, they were £85 plus the VAT for service exchange.
Bosch C/rail injectors 0445110188
Hi dispatcher, I've replaced all 4 injectors on my van. Will see if I can find the invoice for them which will hopefully give me the lart number.
I used pf jones, theres a website but if the call the stoke on trent branch they'll be able to tell you, they used to be called potteries diesels. Specialists in diesel engines, mine were about £100 each.
I can confirm that they are not coded to the vehicle.
Looking very smart kenbw2.
Thanks Father Stone,
Just in the process of converting it to a day/camper van all be it slowly due to work, wife and kids ?
Got new leather front seats to fit, well new to me at least. Then move on to the rear interior, as got all the plastic door fitting etc from a window van to fit before doing the bed/seat and units.
I fitted my towbar myself, very easy to do as it just bolted straight on.
To be fair u purchased the wiring as a 13 pin kit from the dealer as the price wasn't to bad. I'll find the receipt out and check later.
Hi Father Stone,
I've a lwb high roof model, I have the rhino bar roof rack but it's to high really to put a bike rack on.
I'd probably look at the range of towbar mounted racks from thule if I was to have a call to have one.
Or are you looking for a more permanent rear mounted cycle rack?
Looking very tidy AB_70.
That looks a pretty good website tee_cee, good find ?
You're making some good progress AB_70, the drivers seat looks smart.
Unfortunately I've not got any tips for your planned trip through France, been too many years since I last went.
Hi dioufy,
Welcome to the forum.
I would find it a bit strange in this day and age for even a base model not to have remote central locking.
I know some companies order Van's without the alarm, all my British Gas vans had the alarm deleted at factory, but they all still came with remote central locking.
Have you enquired at the main dealer or another dealer?
Hi Woodbine,
I've not any experience of the split boot. To be fair I'd just sort out fitting a standard type boot.
AB_70, my old van was a 53 plate, not sure if that makes much difference
I like the seats you've gone for they will look nice in there. I've a set of 207cc leather seats I'm currently in the process of fitting to my current van, a 2009 expert.
Hi AB_70, Welcome along to the forum.
I put a set of alloys from a 807, straight swap from memory and I got the wheel nuts in with the wheels when I purchased them from ebay. It's been a while since then and I've swapped van as well.
Fiat ulysse steering wheel on ebay:
Steering Wheel
I have looked at the expert of the same era, and from what I can tell, a steering wheel from another vehicle of the same type may well fit.
Hi scudohack, welcome to the forum.
As far as sharing parts with other models from the fiat camp, you might find the fiat ulysse shares alot of parts with the scudo. Pretty certain they will both share the same steering column, but of course I may stand corrected.
I know that my 2009 experts steering wheel was a straight swap with one from a 207cc.
