You would be paying £2000+ for a pop top!
Me every time at the Mcdonalds drive thru
Winder knocks into coffee cup
God dammit
Not as bad as slaming the door with hot coffee in there!
Has to be the worst designed cup holder ever.
When I searched for one about 5 years ago, there was one on ebay very similar to this one claiming to be genuine. Same price too. :-

I didn't buy one.

Oooh Synergie! Same colour as my one too
The very definition of "synergie"
I struggled to find metal door locators for mine. I eventually got some from ebay but they have long since disappeared from my purchase history.
On just checking I see that there are now loads selling the phasic ones. But they do nothing to stop the draught from the ill fitting doors.
Don't know if the starters are pre-engaged or bendix drive but might be worth giving it a good whack with a soft head mallet?
I am thinking that the requirements here will be the same as a simple two way light switch.
Might be a good idea to refresh on how they work?
The Expert can't do that.
I assure you it can.

Got a new one coming.
Can't understand how same garage passed it last couple of years. That hasn't happened in just 12 months!
The result of spending so much time parked on grass I think. Scary how weakened it is. There are stress fractures running from each hole, could have collapsed anytime. And I do often take it off road. Once watched a landy club convoy turn back from one track I use.
Can they weld?

I think I may have found a good welder and a "reasonable" MOT station to do mine.Fingers crossed. Is it due to being Sub frame rather than Chassis that you cant weld or a fussy dick for an MOT man???
I think the regs are open to interpretation. Something like " repairs must be equal to original". There is argument as to the "equal" relating to strength, or method of construction/repair. Many mot stations stay out of it and say no. This is all from non legal hearsay though. I suppose it might take a court case to decide.
The parts situation with these vans is ridiculous. One of the reasons my local garage won't do the subframe is they expect it won't be the right one when it comes and they would be a ramp down with my van in bits till they found the correct one.
I'd be careful about sticking your finger in a hole where it may get trapped in gears.
After once adjusting the primary drive on a Bonnie, I replaced the outer case and started it up. It still sounded sloppy so as the inspection plug was still off I though I would test the tension.
I realised my mistake just as my finger brushed the chain and managed to get it out intact.
what is the subframe?
It's the main structure supporting the whole front end.
Engine, wheels, and suspension all hang off it.
So...quite important.

Disaster! Anything that can be done with it to sure it up?
Can get one for £350 but garage not interested. Like you I would be prepared to pay more than the van is worth to get another couple of years.
Alister recons he could patch it but he hasn't seen it yet and I was under the impression that welding wasn't allowed on subframes.
Your avatar has never been more appropriate.
Looking around, I will be lucky to afford a moped.
Still, I did once do a 350 mile tour of Scotland on a 50cc Yamaha.
Life goes on.
Failed MOT on subframe.
Probably the end of the road.
I think Alvy is right, could be so many things. And tracing is not easy without the required knowledge or equipment.
Good manuals are hard to find but you might find something here:-

tee-cee posted this one a while back, I think it's still there:-
I don't know these engines at all but it does seem incredibly unlucky that you have three with the same failure, even if they were known to be prone to head failure. (And I don't know that they are).
Have you checked the head gaskets on the two "new" engines?
Are you sure there is no EGR cooler?...
We all know they are very cheap, but in our climate they don't even get used much, so it's pointless to be digging in to them, except to have them tested (which is already labour intensive job), that'll be very many times the cost of them.
Assuming you are referring to glow plugs...
Do you mean you don't actively use them in summer?
My speedo is spot on.
But only when I stop.

Yes they are just plastic strips and sticky tape.
The front window deflectors, at least in a camper, are primarily to allow ventilation without rain getting in.
What would be causing this?
Excess and unnecessary technology designed and probably programed to increase servicing income for main dealers?
if you can, use a jubilee hose clamp.
Don't know if you noticed John, but the boot split when the clip held.
You could try Woolies. (haven't said that in a while!)
Exterior weatherstrip in rubber with PVC vertical insert.
Black velvet covering on inner face that fits against the glass.
Will seal up to 11 (7/16") gap between glass and window frame but minimum 6mm (1/4") gap unless leading edge is trimmed down.
