passenger grab handle

I want to partially drop my headlining to route a cable to the rear view mirror casing for a reversing monitor. The end caps of the grab handle prises forward but are then retained. I don't want to snap them off. Any ideas how they are removed? I presume there is a screw fixing the handle?
