Replacing Barrel Locks guide

Hi Guys,

I've done a guide to how I changed the barrel locks on my Fiat Scudo (Guessing Dispatch & Expert will be very similar).
Again I am no professional, but I hope it helps you if you decided to change the locks on yours...

Thank smile

Re: Replacing Barrel Locks guide

Great post, thanks.

Just bought an 06 Expert which only came with ONE key  cry So thinking of swapping the barrels from one breaking on ebay (with 3 keys!). Have you done ignition also? Does that need to be programmed somehow? (immobiliser or something?)

Cheers

If it has got an immobiliser chip in the key you could possibly swap them over with the breakers ones. I dont seem to have one on my 1.9 so cant say for sure but me, i would just swap the barrels over and tape up the old key under the steering column plastics as close to ignition as possible.

Re: Replacing Barrel Locks guide

Agreed, amazing write up.

On a side note, we're the barrels you replaced after market or from an old model?
