MK2 Seats in a MK1

Good evening all,

Recently bought a 2006 expert HDI. it currently has two front seats and I would like to convert it to three, it shows on the logbook as three, so I assume at some stage someone has swapped the seats out. Looking around it seems tough to find a tidy set of mk1 seats. Does anybody know if the mk2 seats will fit?

Thanks,

Chris.

I am based in Runcorn, Cheshire. Mine currently have covers on, so I dread to think what underneath looks like, yours look tidy, so wouldn't want to give you a bad swap, I will whip off the covers tomorrow and see what trim and condition they are in, then let you know. Either way thanks for the offer. smile

This is a work van mate so dont care either way as its rare i have anyone with me in it. I just want a single so i can get more cab storage between the seats but i am in East Lothian Jockland so probably not that cost effective for a swap. Plenty of these in scrap yards so you are probably better running round all your local ones. My local one has three but no single passenger. I keep saying ill take one out a car and just make a higher base but now i am in need of a larger van so may just sell it on for a Relay/boxer/ducato. My luck and budget i see me in a Transit soon big_smile

I have bought it for fishing, it will be rare I have three in but there is a trip planned for three and I'd rather drive my van, than be a passenger in my mates vivaro, that thing has a griffin on the front which concerns me greatly.
