Re: Buying Advice.

Thanks for all the advice guys, sorry I've been quiet! We've looked at a couple but not seen anything quite right yet. I'll be back here as soon as we do though, so stay tuned!

Re: Buying Advice.

Finally found one! My good lady looked at it yesterday as she was close by and a deal was done! It's just having a new cam belt and water pump and should be ready to collect next weekend!

Now the planning really starts!

Re: Buying Advice.

That is rather nice. 2L with 122k on the clock at last MOT. Years left in that one. Is the inside just as clean?

Thanks  smile

It's not too bad inside, a good start point I figure. Just got to get hold of it then start making plans.

Re: Buying Advice.

Looks like it started life as a E7 Did it not come with the rear seats? As you could have punted them back on ebay for a few bucks saving on the build. Little bulkhead already out also what is nice. Good one, keep us posted on your build.

Re: Buying Advice.

Hi everyone. Well we've had the van, aka Matilda, a couple of weeks now. THE only real work that we've done is to start the long job of meticulously tcutting her and fixing the courtesy light switch on the driver's side. We're still trying to workout which layout to go for! However the questions are building up so stay tuned for all sorts of newbie questions!
