2011 DISPATCH UNDER BONNET FUSE BOX.

Hi, looking for help regarding interchangeable fuse box for my 2011 Dispatch.  I had an issue where water had got in and caused some damage to the original fuse box, after changing out for a similar box the van runs ok but i have no window washers.  MOT is due in december so i  am trying to source a replacement box which will plug straight in and restore all functions.  I have found an item on ebay with part number 9666700480 which looks the same as the one i have removed but the number on the original box is 9675878080, can anyone tell me if this will work or where i can get a suitable replacement.

Cheers

Re: 2011 DISPATCH UNDER BONNET FUSE BOX.

Can't help re the  parts but if you can identify the relevant wires it would be simple enough to bypass the box with new wire from switch to pump and use an inline fuse.  I suspect identifying the wires might be the problem?

If all else fails, an old fashioned manualy pumped one would get you through the mot.  They used to be common when new tech like window washers were rare.

Re: 2011 DISPATCH UNDER BONNET FUSE BOX.

Fuse box (BSM) isn't programmable, whilst ECU and BSI (onboard fuse box-computer) are both programmable. Don't trust anyone to be 100% promising to reprogram those correctly regardless of price they are charging for.
It always is a lottery buying used items, if those are 100% working with or without their knowledge either. IE, if replacing one or the other you'll unplug ANY connection before you've disconnected the battery and given it 3 mins ro power down, you might cause irreparable damage to those.

Fitting identically looking, items don't mean nothing, as (BSM apart) you'll need them functional as per what model, what parameters and fearures they support.

Fitting (looking identical), but different PN BSM makes me giggle a bit these days, after learning bit more about them.
Instead of messing about in going round some missing features, possibly burning something in the process, I'd highly recommend getting correct part of fleabay, be it twice, in case one doesn't work and just fit back as it's meant to be.
Once again, disconnect battery, give it 3 mins to power down completely before touching any connections.
