2005 Scudo JTD Save from scrapyard!

Hey folks, ive been on this site for years but lost login details (user zapgaz) so had to re register.
Due to some health issues and lifestyle changes, I'm temporarily giving up driving for the foreseeable future.
I'm planning on scrapping my van as the MOT is due mid January, and I have no intention of renewing it, my insurance runs out a few days after and given the van has only been used once a week in last 2 months,it makes no sense to shell out another 650 for the year.
It's a 2005 Scudo JTD intercooled, I've had it for 2.5 years, and I've racked up a ton of mileage in last 12 months, I think its showing about 140k.
For last MOT had a new radiator, back box and coolant hoses, one of which cost me £100!
Runs and drives brill, battery getting a bit weak though, but still starts.
Not in the best of cosmetic conditions!
Could be a useful source of parts for someone.
Has a towbar fitted (ball removed)
Scrapyard has offered me approx £250, which is the price I'm looking for.
I'm big on recycling and reusing so would rather it went to keeping other vans on roads rather than being bailed.
Will be available around the 13th Jan, located East Midlands, but I would happily deliver anywhere in UK if my costs are covered.

I may be OK with pulling parts that do not interfere with the ability to still drive it.
Gaz

Seems a shame to let it go, sounds like the only problem with it is cosmetic?

Do you have any pics of the van and/or are you listing it on eBay/similar?

I will try and sort some photos out.
Not going to be listing anywhere else at the mo.
Safe to say its in ropey condition with a dodgy paint job!
I have no idea what the van will need for another MOT, but had an advisory last year for small patch on outer o/s sill under the door.
Just completed a round trip from Crick to North Leeds, 260 miles on £35 diesel at a steady 50.
