Anyone shed any light on the best way to relocate the bottom ball joint? It appears to be fouling on the anti roll bar for some reason, never experienced anything like this on other vehicles i have worked on they usually just pop in.

Whilst the fault is still apparent, it may be worth using a loose piece of cable to earth out a light cluster to any metal part of the vehicle. if the lights come on then you know it just needs the earth looking at, if not then you could look into the stalk etc mentioned above.

cheers for your help, the subframe will need to come off at some point its in a fairly sorry state, but I have had a word with a mate of mine who is handy with the spanners also, so I think I will box off the clutch sooner rather than later, then get his help with the subframe, top mounts, track rod ends and god knows what else i find along the way

Hello again, was wondering if anyone could give me a general idea of how long a driveway clutch and flywheel replacement would take? I know my way around an engine bay, just haven't done this job before.

I have bought it for fishing, it will be rare I have three in but there is a trip planned for three and I'd rather drive my van, than be a passenger in my mates vivaro, that thing has a griffin on the front which concerns me greatly.

I am based in Runcorn, Cheshire. Mine currently have covers on, so I dread to think what underneath looks like, yours look tidy, so wouldn't want to give you a bad swap, I will whip off the covers tomorrow and see what trim and condition they are in, then let you know. Either way thanks for the offer. smile

Good evening all,

Recently bought a 2006 expert HDI. it currently has two front seats and I would like to convert it to three, it shows on the logbook as three, so I assume at some stage someone has swapped the seats out. Looking around it seems tough to find a tidy set of mk1 seats. Does anybody know if the mk2 seats will fit?

Thanks,

Chris.
