Finally after a break in the cold weather I removed the ally casing (security cover) on the fuel pump. Replaced the stop solenoid & the van has started, happy days
. As the van has been off the road with this non start issue the mot had expired. Took her for test & she past 1st time with just 2 minor advisories. As it was just a week off the end of the month I decided to wait until 1st May before I taxed her. Yesterday I went out for the first time since taking her for test & now she has started playing up; coughing / missing & lacking power. She drove perfectly before the stop solenoid failed & too & from the test station. Not had chance to look at her yet. Really hope its something simple?????
There is a video on youtube showing glow plug replacement; it does show the manifold being removed , see attached linkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BS6bUYUJHuw
Good Luck
Unfortunately not, vehicle is still a non start
Thank you OAT, I have spoken to Pete, now awaiting a booking slot
I have now sorn'd the vehicle. Need an Auto Electrician URGENTLY
Any Fiat auto electricians in the Leigh GT Manchester area that could help? Had a diagnostic reader on, but says no communication with ECU
HELP PLEASE
Had a play about today, had a neighbour crank her over. No smoke at all from the exhaust. Does anyone know if the stop solenoid fails does this amber warning light with the letter 'K' always remain illuminated?
Damn, just realised I have listed in the wrong year range as its a 2003 van!
Hi All
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My Scudo failed to start the other day, however it did eventually allowing me to turn it around in our cul-de-sac to the position I would normally leave it facing. It now fails to start / fire. It cranks over fine; it now displays the attached the flashing Red stop sign & the

amber warning light which looks as though it has a letter 'K' in the centre. I am unable to find what this warning light means
