Replacing seals on 1.9D injector's

Hi

Dispatch 1.9d

Noticed today I've got an injector leaking. Which I guess explains the weird chuffing noise. Anyway I was wondering if any one had any tips for removing the inlet manifold. Not looked how involved it is yet. And also if anyway had ever replaced the sealing washers in the bottom of the injectors think I've found them on eBay like a weird looking compression washer

Any help would be greatly appreciated

It's currently off the road as failed the mot on the whole inner middle and outer sils being rotten, but that's all sorted now. So keen to fix all these little niggels before it goes back for MOT

Yea it was pretty straightforward when I took mine out. The bolts in the Youtube video lunked above, then wiggle the manifold till it comes out

Mine had buggered bolts what was a git to get into so ordered another on ebay and cut the old one out

So to update

Inlet manifold is off. Had to remove the header tank as one of the hoses was in the way. But pretty straight forward.

However awaiting delivery of a fancy 27mm socket before attempting to remove the injector.

But so far so good ?

Last big job on the list

Will try and upload so photos at some point of project MOT failure.

So taking the injector out and replacing the seal was pretty straight.

Forward bleeding it after not do much fun but found a method that worked. Probably need a new starter motor soon thou lol ?

Another job ticked off the list. The end is in sight ☺️
