#1 Re: Maintenance » Rear Load Proportioning Valve stuck... or is it??? » 2025-07-22 19:06:15

Would this valve being faulty cause the brake pedal to creep down. I’ve changed calipers and rear cylinders along with pads discs and shoes and the master cylinder. This is the only part I’ve not changed. I’ve no visible leaks. Only thing I could also change is flexi brake pipes but I get a solid pedal when the engine is off and the vacuum in the servo has gone. It’s a Citroen Synergie. Also I can’t find a part listed for the synergies. Only a 1.8 petrol version. The valve seems to fit all the van versions. Petrol and diesel

I’ve had the van 9 months and this is the second set of pads n discs they are the right size disc n pads, the previous owner must of had this problem as the same parts were changed apart  from the servo, the van once warm would stick the brakes on, by adjusting the push rod a couple of mm has solved the problem it’s like a new van now,

Is it easily accessible to get to the push rod to adjust it?? Cheers
