Hi I have a citreon dispatch 1.9d non turbo
I have had new callipers new discs n pads and yesterday a new master cylinder,
But the front brakes still stick, when cold the brakes a fine but when warm yhe front brakes stick can any1 had this problem I’m now going to replace the servo I suppose

Also I think the servo is working because when I pull the vacuum valve off a hiss of air comes out then the wheels are free to turn, it’s very confusing because if the servo was faulty wouldn’t it make the back brakes stick too

Strange one
Hopefully you figure it out sounds like your on the right path

I assume you've greased the slider pins on the calipers? That solved my (admittedly very old) sticking brakes

Hi I’ve had new callipers pads and discs also fitted a new master cylinder, front brakes still stick when the van is warm, apparently to change a servo on these vans I will have to cut a hole inside the bulk head behind the servo to get to the linkages! Surely there must be another way to change the servo ?

Thank you for all your advice I appreciate it,
Update on the brakes after spending shit loads on it it was in the end the pushrod in the servo I shortened the length by adjusting by a couple of ml and now the van is like new, I’m so happy

Thanks for the update. Glad you are sorted.
I wonder if perhaps a slightly thicker set of pads than standard had been fitted. I don't think it's normal to have to adjust the push rod for new pads. Never had to do it myself and I use every mm.

I’ve had the van 9 months and this is the second set of pads n discs they are the right size disc n pads, the previous owner must of had this problem as the same parts were changed apart from the servo, the van once warm would stick the brakes on, by adjusting the push rod a couple of mm has solved the problem it’s like a new van now,

Is it easily accessible to get to the push rod to adjust it?? Cheers
