I’m having to give up campervanning as (at 80) my hips won’t allow me to drive any distance, so I’m going to have to sell my NuVenture Rio 2 berth camper, I’ve started to advertise it on one or two different websites and hope that it goes to a good home, initially I put it up for £17,500 but rather than having it sit in storage I’ve reduced the price to £16,000.
This is a very well looked after van, no rust, no damp, new front suspension subframe & new cambelt and water pump fitted last April, 114,000 miles & parks in normal car park space, if you’re interested I’ve got some good pics.

Claire THE WISE !
Thanks for sharing your experience with the inner door removal . . . I now see how it works (but whether my (80yr) old fingers along with my brain will be able to manage that I’m not sure?
But how to remove the inner door trim ??
- also for the life of me I can’t figure out how to post a pic - (keep it simple as I’m a numpty ?
2005 diesel Fiat Scudo.
My driver’s door lock is playing up,
When I put the key in it just turns, i suspect that there must be a plastic part that’s broken, you can hear a nice’clunk’ when i lock from the inside by just pressing the button down - any advice on how to remove the inner door trim to get to the lock ?
Can you tell me what the’box’ is behind the windscreen filler tube ?
There’s no tyre pressure sticker on the door frame
What is the tyre pressures for My 2005 Fiat Scudo based Nu Venture Rio ?
Ok, problem solved (hopefully), tucked away in a near inaccessible place I found the earth wire to the fridge was chafed through so I traced the wire back and spliced in a new length of wire - along with intermittent non working switch on the fridge panel so it’s had a spray of electrical contact cleaner it now seems to work perfectly - I’d like to replace the switch but the wires at the back are so short that it’s impossible to pull out the switch (unless I do a full fridge removal to get at the wires. . . I don’t think that’s on the cards ?), manufacturers seem to fit the shortest cable without leaving any slack. Ho hum- I expect to have SOME problems on a 20yr old van so not much of a surprise, (I hope I’m not jinks it but it’s fully usable and comfortable)
The Dometic fridge in my (Scudo based) Rio won’t work on 12v (engine running), it’s ok on gas & hook up & I suspect it’s either the wiring or more probably a blown fuse- does anyone know what fuse it’s wired to on the fuse board situated in the back of passenger dashboard cubbyhole ?
Good to know. What alteration(s) were required?
I’m not sure but I think it was one or two of the retaining bolt holes were not quite matching up but the mechanics’s re-gigged it so all’s well, I’m going to under seal it to try to prolong it’s life (although it’ll outlive me ?
The front suspension subframe on my Fiat Scudo ‘Nu Venture’ was well rusted, my choice (no choice really) was scrap the whole campervan or get the sub frame replaced replaced, I checked & found a replacement (£270) & my local heavy vehicle garage fitted it (although the sub frame was marked for 2005 Scudo it required a bit of alteration) - long story short- it’s all been replaced & I’m back on the road again, I was expecting a LARGE cost but it came in well under what I expected to pay, (under £700) here’s hoping there’s no future problems!
I could post (don’t know cost) I’m in Wrexham N Wales * can you tell me HOW to post a pic ?
Unit is overall (inc hot air outlet is 15.5” x 8” wide x 5” high.
* I’m having trouble trying to post a pic - I must be doing something wrong
A change of plans means I no longer have the need to fit this heater & it’s just taking up space in my shed,
It’s a 1600 watt LPG gas heater, it’s in perfect working order (connected & tested last month, temperature gets above 55deg C at the outlet.
£150

Same here, rotten front suspension subframe - I ordered & received within 5 day from HAWK £274 delivered, my garage who deals with heavy vehicles is going to fit it next Tuesday
I’ve just bought a Front suspension sub frame (for my Scudo) from Hawk Parts, £274 delivered - my trusted local garage is going to fit it - (I’ve not yet asked how much they charge !
Whilst rooting around in a cavernous sprawling bookshop in Llangollen I found a Haynes owners workshop manual for 1996-2010 petrol & diesel
Citroen Berlingo/Peugeot Partner - I wonder how similar it is for Fiat Scudo ?
I took a chance as it was only £6, it’s scuffed but completely readable:
(Haynes manual for Scudo seems to be like looking for rocking horse manure- both unobtainable !
I’m guessing it might be too late to ask if you still have the van - but if you’re pulling bits off, how much for the spotlights ?
What the H*ll is a fuel cooler ?
I should add that this is behind the near side front wheel fixed to the chassis

“When you change the front sub frame for at least the 1.9D there are 2 different sub frames once is pre face lift and one facelift. The main changes are the engine mount and the bolt hole sizes towards to back. So I found when I was talking to above supplier. The front cross memeber is the same for both.”

- I have the same problem- rusty front suspension sub frame;
My Fiat SCUDO is according to the V5 is year 2005,
So I’m assuming it’s pre-facelift model,
Did you have to obtain the OEM part number of the frame ?
I’ve found one from a company which I think is the right one - do you think it’s the correct one ??

I have some work to do on my 2005 diesel Scudo and looking for (hopefully a workshop manual) I’d prefer a printed version rather than CD - anyone have knowledge where to get one ?
(I need to see what’s involved replacing front suspension sub frame) - here’s hoping someone can help.

I had a sudden problem when my fuel gauge showed needle at full when I switched the engine off - on investigation the appropriate fuse was not seated properly, I checked the fuse with multimeter &it was ok & reseating it cured the problem- maybe worth checking by removing ALL fuses & re-inserting them may cure your problem (could be that the fuse wasn’t making good contact
