I’ve had the van 9 months and this is the second set of pads n discs they are the right size disc n pads, the previous owner must of had this problem as the same parts were changed apart  from the servo, the van once warm would stick the brakes on, by adjusting the push rod a couple of mm has solved the problem it’s like a new van now,

Thank you for all your advice I appreciate it,
Update on the brakes after spending shit loads on it it was in the end the pushrod in the servo I shortened the length by adjusting by a couple of ml and now the van is like new, I’m so happy

Hi all
Has anyone replaced a servo if so how is this done
I have dispatch 2005 1.9 non turbo and no abs I believe, I’m wondering how to replace the servo without cutting a hole into the bulk head from inside the cab any suggestion I would appreciate thank you

Hi I’ve had new callipers pads and discs also fitted a new master cylinder, front brakes still stick when the van is warm, apparently to change a servo on these vans I will have to cut a hole inside the bulk head behind the servo to get to the linkages! Surely there must be another way to change the servo ?

Also I think the servo is working because when I pull the vacuum valve off a hiss of air comes out then the wheels are free to turn, it’s very confusing because if the servo was faulty wouldn’t it make the back brakes stick too
