Now that was funny !!!

You speculated well my friend
It did indeed turn out to be 42!
But I still can't find an answer as to why there should be so many variants!
In fact most of the people I spoke to had no idea at all, about wheel offsets.
And that includes my local main stealer...
Hi all,
I am the proud owner of the above vehicle and I am in need of a spare wheel.
Now, in my way of thinking I headed to ebay, and the confusion began....
The tyres on my van are 215/60/16, exactly what they should be, according to the door sticker, and the internet.
All good so far, lots of those on ebay, then it all went wrong.
Wheel offset.
Cannot find any information anywhere about the correct offset value, obviously loads of conflicting answers.
And loads of different values for the ebay listed ones, how can that be?
My question therefore is, surely there are not loads of genuine Peugeot expert wheels with different offset values, and which is the correct one for my van?
I can not get to the van at the moment, otherwise I would check on the rim, but can't do that until next week, so thought I'd try here first.
Any answers gratefully recieved, Thanks!
I just read this post in full, from these two contributors.
Best thing i've read in ages!

I had a Peugeot 405 did exactly the same thing.
Turned out it was a cooling fan fuse.
Probably worth a check...
Cheers Localfella, you confirmed my suspicions,i probably just didn't tug hard enough.I'll have another go if and when it stops raining.
As for you Casper, well,i'm sure it has got a gearbox, and i'm pretty sure it was the bottom of the flywheel i saw! (although i will now be double checking!)
Damn this rain,if it ever stops i will have another look underneath, might even put my glasses on,could make all the difference.
I only bought this van for the never ending trips to all the DIY sheds and to cart all the fishing gear about.
Perhaps the biggest bonus is 'er indoors and the kids wouldn't be seen dead in it.
They already christened it ''The Dingle Wagon''.
Hi there people, just bought the above vehicle and now got a couple of questions!
How do i get the overhead storage thingy out? I think something has died up there and it needs a bloody good clean, but try as i might,it's appears to be all loose but just won't come out.Ideas,anyone...
Also,i had a quick look underneath when i got it home, and i can see the flywheel! Is this normal,or should there be some sort of plate covering it?
I had it MOT'd 2 days ago and the tester never mentioned it,or the major oil leak or the massive crack in the screen...It did pass though,so not too worried.
Wife and kids taking the mick, they all reckon i've bought yet another lemon!
Look forward to hearing any theories, so fire away!
