Yep , I know what you mean. I have a Kodiaq that i also drive and that beeps and pings non stop for any reason it wants.
Just seem strange being in the van that does nothing. I just like to have things doing what they are supposed to do.
But I have to say I do quite enjoy the lack of beeps and pings in my van. smile

Managed to get out and have a quick look, from what I can see it looks like the speaker is part of some other circuit Board. I think for what its going to do I may just leave well alone and enjoy the silence. I did get a photo of a part number sticker so will see if I can look that up just out of interest.
Thanks again

Update:Turns out that the speaker is part of the steering wheel indicator, wipers and headlight switch gear, so yep I think I am going to leave it well alone. The part number incase anyone needs it is PSA 96659938xt

Have got myself a 2010 Citroen Dispatch to replace my MK1 Expert
The problem I have or question is, I have no warning sounds or clicks what so ever coming from the dash or where ever its meant to come from.
I have no clicks when I indicate left or right, no sound when I leave lights on, nothing when I take off seat belt when moving etc.
My question is, where does the sound come from, any ideas how to fix it.
Many Thanks

As far as I can see on my 1.6hdi the rubber hose is just an extra water drain. The flap just stops it sucking in with air flow, and any water can just drip out the bottom.

Up for sale is my trusty Peugeot Expert Van, I am selling as spares or repair. Has a couple months MOT remaining so could be driven away. It needs 2 new outer sills and some patching on the inner sills, way beyond my skill level. The jacking points all look to be solid to my untrained eye. Its been a fantastic van that I have owned for last 7+ years . I was only the second owner. Its only done 79,800 ish miles. I did the cam belt and water pump 5000 miles ago. The engine runs like a sowing machine, all be it like a 1.9 Diesel Na DW8. It has never let me down.Has done the round trip to Cornwall of 800 miles a few times and at a steady 60mph will give you 40mpg. All the rest of the van is in good condition. Just a few tiny dings. I'd love my van to go to someone who can do a bit of welding and can keep her going for a good few years more.
I'm in West Norfolk over by Kings Lynn £450 ONO and you can drive her away. For more info message me and i'll post pictures etc.

NOW SOLD VIA EBAY, HOPEFULLY TO GO ON FOR A FEW YEARS MORE

Purchased my Experts 1.9D 2007 a few months back now and that felt very strange when going round tight corners, i also noticed the outer edges of both front tyres seemed to be a little scrubbed up, i changed the front wheels for the back and had the balance and tracking done. its was out quite a bit. Its like driving a new van now.
