Heat resistant contact adhesive:

It seems ok, but it was a bit dark when I checked. I will get the heater controls out soon. Ive not be well and the control needed the centre taxi control unit taking out, which needed the drivers seat taking out. The drivers seat is out now, so I will get the controls out over the weekend.

I have just been out and measured the rear side panel. I have then cut some ply to shape and carpeted it. I have also carpeted some of the bare metal where the wheel arch trim and the panel meet. Would like to carpet all the bare metal, but may have to leave it due to the van being used for work.
Roof lining, side panel and wheel arch trim are not fixed in place yet as I have the roof to insulate, the wiring to do and the floor to fit before final fixing, hence why the panels are a bit wonky.
I have a 2003 Fiat Scudo taxi that I bought for some bits and now the rest is surplus to requirement.
The slide doors, headlining, interior plastic wheel arch trim, heater controls and engine are not available, but the rest is pretty much there.
PM me with any requests.

Thanks,
Phil.
Sounds good to me.
Cheers guys, I am looking and waiting for a breaking uyl/806/syn ( I am so bored of having to search for everything 3 times!) But the local scrapyard seems to think they have some espace ones which they say are the same.
I have the single front seat already which I like as you can walk into the back without getting out!
I was thinking it would be good to have an area of the forum where people can post things they are selling/giving away or links to bargains on eBay that I'm sure we all find but don't necessarily need at the time?
Just an idea!
I had thought this would be a good idea, but wasn't sure about how it would be policed or if there was enough bandwidth?
I used one of these in my T4 and will do the same with the Scudo.

I then run a fly lead with a plug on it to the back of some secondary sockets.
The hook up with rcd was housed at the bottom of the cupboard to the right and a cable with a plug on ran up to the back of the sockets.
Good thing was I could take it out of the van and use it elsewhere if needed.
Mind and do under that roof lining. Thought you were putting the taxi doors on.
I'm leaving the doors for a bit, as it will be a two man job and I would like a good dry day to do it on.. The roof lining was only put up to make sure it fitted ok. It will be coming down if we have a dry spell over the weekend.
Funnily enough, the taxi had no insulation whatsoever, which surprised me. The roof had a build up of condensation on it when I dropped the headlining.
Tiree,
My blue van had one, but the taxi didn't. I wondered if it was some kind of heating vent or air recirculation vent, but truth is I don't have a clue.
The blue van no longer has it, as the taxi interior trim won't fit with it in place.
Today I have cleaned the inside of the van ready for the insulation to be fitted when it arrives. I can then get on with wiring up the electrics and fitting the panels and the floor.
I have also bought some ply and some 4 way stretch carpet so I can board the panel between the headlining and the plastic panel at the bottom on both sides.
I guess I am going to be busy for a while!
I was so busy finding it, I didn't realise it had already been posted, sorry.

I presume this is the place.
All the measurements were to the innermost lip inside the square sections.
I would have liked to get them off, save changing the doors on my van. It would also give me something to make a mould of to see if they could be replicated.
I apologise for the mixture of measurements.
The left and right sections both measure 1ft wide and 38cm highs.
The full width from lip to lip including the support bar is 66 and a half cm.
I hope this is what you wanted measuring?
Tiree, You are correct, they are there and have been bonded to the door! Not sure how to go about getting them off.
I could pry them off, but risk breaking them. I may look to see if I can use something to soften or break down the bonding material.
It seems to be some kind of heavy duty double sided tape.
I did think about a bit of heat to soften the adhesive, but need to be careful not to warp the deflector.
Casper, The passenger seat is available, as is the spare one I had with the blue van. I am in Wolverhampton.
Vaz, I will check if it has them and if so, how they are fitted and any part numbers they may have.
Glad to see you got a van. Keep us updated on any work you do.
I'll check in the morning. I'm sorry I didn't get time today to measure the side door. I've just been mega busy today. I will do it tomorrow.
I have popped the taxi on ebay as breaking now if anyone is interested in any parts.
Hi Casper,
Is it the heater control unit or the switches? PM me a picture of the part you are after.
Phil.
If you can wait until tomorrow, I am swapping my doors with taxi doors and I can take the ply off the old door and measure it.
