With this situation we have I decided to have a look at the lock on the rear Door of Van as it has never unlocked on the key in I don't know how Long ...............
I got a key Cloned/Cut for Van Probably about 3 yrs ago and told the Barrel was full of Sh** and wounldn't work with Lube and usual tricks and as he didn't want to force but all other doors were fine inc Central locking starting ETC ............ I was informed............
It was one of those jobs I obviously kept putting off ...........
It was " It's Not raining so No rush to fix leak" type thing ............
Plus I didn't want to replace Barrel and have an odd key .........
Then I heard funny noises coming fron the central locking in the hatch area of the 306 and it turns out very hit and mostly miss on it locking the Hatch.........
The pantomime of finding a replacement begins ...........
With No Luck from usual breakers or parts sources...........
All I can find even used [On eB**] is either one of the door locks with solonoid built in or it's 26 yrs old and £30 delivered from Latvia........
Also it didn't help finding what appears to be the same part "listed as and updated" ............
Is in-fact slightly different in it's orientation................
I then find after a lot of searching and cross reference I find a new part on eB** and funnily in France...........

Fast forward I decided to have a look at Van door to see if I can lock and unlock manually from the inside (still to achieve this as I got roped into somthing else)....
I did discover that the the CENTRAL LOCKING ACTUATOR/SOLENOID Mounted on the rear door of van is the same one as fitted to the hatch on the 306 ...
So I think I might just order another for incase...........
