My fuel lines dismounted! Could someone check how theirs are mounted?

Driving along a normal single carriageway, 50mph or so, when I heard a quick bang bang

Wondered what the hell it was. Exhaust mounts? No I'd hear it sounding different. Though maybe it was some debris or a grid.

You know what though, maybe best check. So a mile or so later I look underneath and see my fuel lines drooping down:

Get underneath, see the plastic mounts aren't fastened on to anything. One of them has moved further back and has some grass in it. Maybe a clue? Still no idea what happened

So could anyone have a look at theirs and tell me how these are meant to be attached?

I've cable tied them up and as much as I appreciate a temporary permanent fix, it'd be nice to see how they attach

Re: My fuel lines dismounted! Could someone check how theirs are mounted?

Just been under the HDI you saw up here.

The fuel lines were dangling loose but still had the plastic clips attached.   I couldn't see any holes or fittings along the chassis or elsewhere for them to fit.

I suspect that they might piggyback onto the clips holding the brake lines.   Vaz's pic 1 looks like it is.

I will keep the 3 clips in case yours are broken.

Hmm yea I suspected they attached to the brake line ones somehow. If I find reason to care enough about my cable tie solution I'll get under and see if I can reattach them
