tow ready electrics

Hello,
I'm looking to install a towbar to my Mk2 2016 Dispatch.

To keep the electrics neater I want to use a dedicated connection.

There are a couple of unused connectors at the rear of the van, are these the towbar ready connections?

Re: tow ready electrics

I honestly don't know ............ But

The part number that's visable on your first picture appears to relate to a electronic module PEUGEOT 207 or 307 Parking module...........
So from that I'd deduce probably not...........

But French and stranger things have happend at Sea......

Any indication in vehicle handbook?

Yes, but be careful, the ECU will need to programmed with Diagbox to add the feature

Re: tow ready electrics

Thank you both for the information.

I will order a specific wiring harness, I do have diagbox so will hopefully be a straight forward task.

Re: tow ready electrics

I can now answer my own question which may help others.

The items shown are the tow ready components, I ordered the vehicle specific towing loom and it plugged into the two associated items in the van.
It took longer wiring in the 13 pin socket.

I then booted up diagbox and from the front menu chose the delivery of vehicle to customer option to add the towing feature to the BSI.
