Tank Filler Extension

Got this two gallon tank to run my diesel heater from. I want the cap as close to my main tank one as i can get so this will need a swan neck extension. Hose in hole will mean trying to fill the cap tang holes as well as glue in place and hose over, i dont think i have enough lip for a jubilee clip. Anyone have any bright cheap ideas?

Cap must be on top of tank.
