Spent a few days working in the Lakes

Had some glorious weather! Plenty of no overnigh parking signs though, which made things more difficult

Re: Spent a few days working in the Lakes

The No Overnight parking signs put me off The Lakes, I drove up by Wastwater and couldn't find anywhere to lay up.

Re: Spent a few days working in the Lakes

I've tended to steer clear of the lakes with Van But more because campsites refusal with the bike .........
Old habits die hard I guess and if you don't Conform to their plans ............
[And they've always been busy enough to pick and choose]........

It's not impossible just a PITA as this coming year is likely to be I'd guess ........
