2010 Dispatch Bulkhead Removal Issues

Hi all,

Hope everyone is doing okay.

I've recently bought a 2010 Dispatch to convert into a camper.

I'm having some issues removing the bulkhead. I can tap out the bolts that affix it to the chassis but it seems impossible to remove the bulk head. They appear to be lipped on the cab side (of the ones that I can see). It's very difficult to even see the ones around the door.

Has anyone got any advice on how to remove these bolts or how to eventually get the bulkhead itself out? It's looking like I might have to chop it out at the moment!

As well as bolts there are large rivets. Drill the centres as well as you can and use a hammer and holepunch to knock the centre out.
The real pig is the lower part. These are held in with some kind of hard glue, which needs to be chipped away. Then you will find that the middle part has been welded to the floor seam- two 5cm sections. I used a hammer an chisel to break this

Will let you know how I get on. Not sure if its covered in the Haynes manual, will take a look.

tbh I didn't find the Haynes manual to be much use any time I looked at it.
Anyway here is a pic of the aftermath - I used the scraper the break the glue between the top and bottom, until I found the welded bits, which required the cold chisel.
