A bit more populated - nothing that uses any meaty power yet as I've still not put in a relay or wired in the connector between the battery and the heated rear window wire (my windows aren't heated).
But the standard trailer lights are all active, as is the reverse line for the cheapy rear camera

And i KNOW that image is the right way up! If I get sat down in front of a computer any time soon I'll see if it works better from a non-mobile source

Bit of a nuisance really, some software will just add orientation info to the file header, and hope that the display program will obey the instruction. I know that the old windows photo viiewer will actually rewite the file pixel by pixel.

Hi,
Just going to wire a 7 pin trailer socket so very helpful, do i need to fit a relay of just go straight onto the wiring?

Hi Danny73 ...................As far as I know and having a look at my trailer wiring [2005 Mk1 face lift] I don't see a bypass 7 way relay on a Mk 1 Van anyway it seems connect straight into loom ... Obviously you might need a flasher relay............

Its a bit overkill, but GIMP is what I use for image faffing. Failing that if you are limited to a phone and have no computer, you could try an EXIF/metadata remover app. That would remove all the rotation data and any other metadata (GPS coordinates, location info, usernames, etc) attached to the picture.

The best part of using open source software is having to be like "no it's not what you're thinking" when talking about it with normal people

Yeah the name brings up all sorts of crazy connotations, but the reality is it's just another acronym because they couldn't be bothered to give it a real name. I stopped trying to explain to most people long ago, because the conversation generally ends up in Linux and its too big/long a subject to discuss with random people. Also when you tell people you don't use Windows it tends to blow their minds (and when you tell them neither do your parents, its enough to be labelled as an extremist).
