That's me sorted for fuel for a bit

None of the supermarkets are particularly cheap atm, best I can do is 94p a litre at Farmfoods with the £5 off vouchers. Lancaster always has stock so I piled em high

Re: That's me sorted for fuel for a bit

I know there's been discussion of the best type of fuel pump for veg oil, it was Bosch rather than Lucas, wasn't it?

Need to see what's fitted on my DW8

Re: That's me sorted for fuel for a bit

Dw8 is 99% Lucas, so not veg friendly. although I think Casper ran his on 50:50 veg:diesel no problem

Re: That's me sorted for fuel for a bit

My 306 it's DW8 has the rotary Bosch pump fitted which is second best IMHO to it's in line pump for veg oil use..............
[I've seen a good few of the DW8 in first gen berlingo's with a Bosch pump But never a facelift]
And I'm partial to dropping some Litres of cooking oil in it [Quantity dependent at time of year ]............
The Van is fitted with a Lucus Cav [Dephi] Pump so steer clear of cooking oil there ............

[Although both the Van and the 306 have DW8's they sound different to me]
