Convert single DIN slot into double DIN possible?
So my van has a slot for a single DIN radio head unit... short of replacing the dash with one with a double DIN slot, is it possible to put a double DIN here with some sort of conversion kit? Sadly I don't think its got a double DIN slot with one of them single DIN covers over the top of it, its just a single DIN dash.
I want to get one of them cheapo Android double DIN head units that come with a reversing cam

they do make a single din android one... i had one in mine
look on Aliexpress for "Joying" its good.
was offered a good price for mine so sold it haha
very easy to get working with the original steering wheel controls too!

Sadly I don't think its possible, the way the dash is moulded leaves no space for a bigger radio, plus the vent is right above and the heater controls below. As John said, a single din fold out would be your best option.
