Hello
I own a Peugeot Expert 2,0HDI from 2006 and have had it for 6months and I like it very much.
I also bought a newer from 2009 that im not using yet but I like this older better.
Anyway I have got a annoying problem with the rear lights. I noticed it because someone told me i didnt have any lights on.
I stopped but let the engine run and true they were out.
Then when I came home and stopped whit the engine off and lights on they actually worked.
They work when the ignition is on but the engine is of. When the engine starts they go out, even the numberplate lights.
It cant have anything to do with the wiring near the key because the light up even if the engine dies for another reason than turning the key off.
So this problem is very confusing to me because i heard that there is no lights relay?!
Does someone recognize this problem and have a solution?
Need to fix i soon or I cant keep driving it.
Thanks! // FYL

Lights can act very weird if the ground or a little short between the wires have happened, mine for example started using the brake lights as indicators and the reverse lights were always on due to the wiring melting together at one point.
Also the connectors that plug into the cluster are notorious for corroding and wires snapping off. Give those wiring looms a good look at.
