Cheapo Dash Cam

After loosing and wrecking a Go Pro off the bike last year I decided that I didn't want to risk the New and more expensive Go Pro again even if it was my own fault for not checking the tether properly...... So a cheapo Chinese SJ4000 Go Pro copy later ....happy days acceptable enough video quality and a whole bunch of fitments, tethers and mounting guff supplied along with it.

I'd been using the Go Pro for time lapse and sticking to the window of van,  but seemed to be always needing to charge batteries at the most inopportune times.

I think it was Tee Cee's web page I saw that you can get a voltage reducer to power the dash cam.

I realized that with the bunch of fittings that came with the SJ4000 that I could fit it in van as a dash cam...... not the most discreet but it's not that noticeable.

Hopefully some good travel footage on our jollies this year and the Go Pro free for other duties.
