Track Rod End Tapered Shaft Sizes?

Has anyone had any issues getting these to fit? i have bought 3 pairs now and every one seems to be too small!

they always seem to sit too low as if the tapered shaft is not wide enough. so when i tighten up the nut, it just spins and runs out of thread.

i have had to pack them with washers!

does anyone know the size?

thanks!

Hi John do you mean the shaft on the end of the arm that the track rod end sits on?

no not the threaded one the one that sits into the hub/strut with the nyloc nut.
the one where you usually destroy the ball joint dust cover when you use a ball joint splitter
