What pressures do you run tyres at ? ..... Tyre pressure chat I found listed 3.2...3.4 and 3.6 bar......... that's roughly 43 to 53 Psi (that's surely fully loaded)
We were away for 5 nights last week ..(Largs, Glen coe, Fort William, Skye and Loch lomond)
Checking Tyre pressures before the off to find a mix of 30...35.......... I leveled them all at 40Psi
630mls....just shy of 69ltrs to brim it on return ........ which I was pleased at a smidgen over 41MPG overall with the DW8

Running mine at 36psi. I found that number online somewhere (maybe from the vehicle handbook).

Nah i read that also and thought rather high so all sitting at 32psi just now. Might give it a bash at 36 though as last night i had a lot of cross wind and i was getting buffered about a lot.

Aye thats the way i see it. Going to Manchester in a fortnight so ill brim the tank before and after and see my reading. Im looking for 45mpg as long as i stay at 60mph.

Windows 7 pal, Ha Ha could be the issue.
True but At 60mph I doubt my old van could have done it in more than 35mpg with bike and dog and all camping gear in the back, but in all honestly it just keeps going and touch wood unbelievably reliable, which is very significant to cost efficiency in my book

Dont ask about keeping tabs on MPG as i never remember to ask for receipts or write things down. Im away 11 nights and four country's, five if you cound England heading for Hull. I estimate doing 1450 miles and have set aside 250 quid to pay for it. Now that works out at 30mpg so i will be looking to have a few €'s left over or i will be disappointed.
