Apologies if this has been asked 500 times before (I couldn't find anything by searching).
One of my rear suspension airbags on my 09 Expert recently failed, and dropped out the bottom of the van. I managed to limp the 20 metres home very slowly.
I've bought and installed a replacement bag, but it won't inflate. The rear suspension dashboard light is on permanently and the display is saying "suspension fault", or the French equivalent. Pressing the manual controls at the back of the van results in a single "beep" regardless of what I press. I've tried the topmost button to toggle the system on (including holding for 30 seconds) but get the same lone "beep". There's no noise or sign of activity from the compressor at all.
Any ideas?
If I give up, and replace with standard steel springs (a rather tempting idea at this point) does anyone have a link or a part number for me? As I understand it, I need 2 springs, and 2 spring seats.
Thank you in anticipation.
