Rear sliding door pull not working.

Hi have had the van quite a few years and it has got more and more difficult to get the outside door pull to release the door.
It has come to the point now where I can pull it right out and no release. However reaching inside the release lever works perfectly.
Not sure if there is an adjustment for the outside lever, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Rear sliding door pull not working.

I know wth my previous Dispatch it needed a firm tug. It's not about how hard you pull it, but how firmly

Your best bet is to take that plastic panel off the inside of the door - it's just a few torx screws - and inspect the rods that deal with the mechanisms

Re: Rear sliding door pull not working.

Had the same problem on mine. Turned out to be the rod from the central locking device inside the door. A slight adjustment there, and VOILA! Never been a problem since.

Re: Rear sliding door pull not working.

Thanks both for your replies. Will have a poke around inside and try to adjust the rods a bit.
Thanks again.
